Since 2004 as CEO or Chairman, Mr. Matysek has primarily focused on the exploration, development and sale of five publicly listed companies, in aggregate worth over $2 billion.

Most recently, he was Executive Chairman of Lithium X Energy Corp. which was sold to Nextview New Energy Lion Hong Kong Limited (“Nextview”) for $265 million in cash.

Awarded EY Entrepreneur of the Year for Mining & Resources in September 2018.

Mr. Kettell is a co-founder of New Found Gold Corp. (2016) and of Palisades Goldcorp Ltd. (2013), a Canadian resource investment company. As Chairman and CEO of New Found Gold Corp., he is responsible for developing the strategic plan for the discovery, financing and continued exploration of the Queensway Project.

In his role as Chairman and CEO of Palisades, Mr. Kettell has been the driving force behind its inception, leading to its current stature as a multi-hundred-million-dollar investment Company, while incubating and developing several companies under the Palisades umbrella.

Mr. Kettell is an active participant in the resource sector as an investor and company builder, focused on the discovery of mineral deposits both in Canada and the United States. He is founder and CEO of Nevada King Gold Corp., founder of Radio Fuels Resources Corp., co-founder of EarthLabs Inc. (previously Goldspot Discoveries), and co-founder and director of Golden Planet Mining Corp.

Raised over $200 Million to finance and develop mines and sold four assets in aggregate worth over $850 Million.

President of Quest Geological Consultants, a geo-consultancy group focused on minerals exploration in North America.

Over 40 years experience in the evaluation, design, and management of base and precious metals exploration projects in the United States and Asia.

M.A. in Geology from California State University (1981); Professional Geoscientist (P. Geo.) registered in Ontario, Canada with APGO.

Mining engineer with over 30 years of operations, consulting and investment banking experience.

Includes work on feasibility studies for numerous mining projects worldwide, investment banking/due diligence roles in over 200 institutional equity financings.

Significant experience advising management and boards on merger and acquisition transactions.

A geologist with over 38 years experience in the mineral exploration industry, much of it gained in Africa, America and the Asia-Pacific region. Has worked in a management capacity with several exploration and mining companies in Australia and internationally since 1986. Involved with the Ivanhoe Group of companies since 1994, including Ivanhoe Australia, Ivanhoe Philippines and Ivanhoe Mines Ltd..

Presently has directorships with the following publicly listed companies: Trilogy Metals Inc. and Ivanhoe Mines Ltd.

Holds a Bachelor of Science, Geology, degree from Sierra Nevada University, Nevada, USA.

Certified Professional Geologist with over 35 years of global mineral exploration experience spanning North and South America, the Caribbean, Indonesia and southern China.

Regional functional business lead in South America and the Caribbean for a major international mining company with +16 years of continent wide, multi-cultural international management experience in generative exploration to advanced operational project development.

Proven track record of multiple discoveries and advanced development experience.

Internationally-recognized metallurgist who previously served as Director of Metallurgy and Technology of Newmont, where he managed corporate metallurgical laboratory and R&D staff responsible for global Newmont process development and engineering design projects.

Led exploration teams as a senior geologist for Newmont contributing to the discovery of several multi-million ounce gold deposits in Nevada, including the Leeville (Newmont), Fiberline (Newmont) and North Dark Star (Gold Standard Ventures) deposits.

Economic geologist with over 12 years of exploration experience, mainly related to gold in the western US.

Worked on a number of exploration projects across north-central Nevada, including management of a deep drilling program at the Arch discovery. Since joining Ethos Gold in 2020, he has been leading the exploration activities at the Iron Point Project. Prior to this, he was involved in making the discovery in 2019 at Irving Resources’ Omu epithermal gold project in northern Japan.

Mr. Sterling earned a B.Sc. in Geological Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. He is a member of the Society of Economic Geologists and the Geological Society of Nevada.

Graduated from the University of Utah with a BSc in Geology.
